Today is I Love to Write Day.
This event was created by John Riddle to introduce children to writing and encourage adults to go back to reading. On this day, people attend poetry readings, join writing contests or pitch their work so it can be published in local newspaper.
It also falls right in the middle of the National Writing Month in November which includes a month-long novel-writing challenge: 50,000 words in 30 days.
Created in 2002.
